As a managing consultant, Mr. Burnham provides critical architectural insight and technical support for Accumyn’s project management, financial, and economic practice areas.
Mr. Burnham consults with Accumyn’s clients and in-house specialists on engagements to help resolve complex disputes and claims for architectural planning, design, production, contract administration and construction issues.
On past engagements, Mr. Burnham has provided litigation support to attorneys for the resolution of construction jobsite accidents, specifically in areas of architectural standards, building codes and OSHA regulations. In addition, he has provided research and technical analysis to resolve a large construction damage claim on a multi-family project in the Gulf Coast area.
His more than thirty years of technical, managerial, and executive experience includes commercial and residential building projects throughout the country. Primary focus areas include all phases of architectural services for commercial, liturgical, medical/professional, warehouse, self-storage, educational, retail, and residential clients. His extensive and broad experience arms him with the knowledge and skills to competently address almost every facet of architectural project planning, development, or execution.
After his graduation in 1979 from Louisiana State University’s five-year professional degree program in architecture, Robert interned at the Houston offices of Spencer, Herolz & Durham. Since that time, Mr. Burnham progressed through increasingly more responsible project management and corporate officer positions at various Houston area architectural firms. Since 2002, Robert has operated his own architectural design studio, serving all of Texas, but focused on the Greater Houston area.
Mr. Burnham continues to promote the design profession and the construction industry through his affiliation with several professional organizations. He served as Chair of the Intern Development Program for both the Texas Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architects – Houston and has provided advisor/mentor services to interns and students since 1985.
