Mr. Daab is an Affiliate Director serving clients in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. As a graduate of Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, and as a Registered Professional Engineer with forty years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Daab’s primary expertise is in HPHT Drilling, Completion & Abandonment Engineering Design and Project Management of wells. A majority of his experience is in the Gulf of Mexico (Shelf & Deep Water) and Gulf Coast onshore and inland waters.
Other areas of expertise include South Texas, East Texas, Mississippi, Washington State sub-basalt, Eastern Mediterranean Sea, Middle East, Western Desert of Egypt and North Sea. Mr. Daab has been responsible for Professional Engineering Certification, as required by U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), for more than forty clients.
Mr. Daab has provided dispute consulting services, including review and analysis of issues in dispute, the preparation of expert opinions and expert reports, and expert testimony.
