LUIGI CALABRESE

Mr. Calabrese has been retained by law firms to assist in matters involving lost profit, lost value, unjust enrichment and other financial and economic analysis. Luigi has also determined pecuniary damages for personal injury and wrongful death and wrongful termination for both plaintiffs and defendants. Luigi has appraised businesses, equity securities and specific assets. Types of securities valued include valuation of common stock of privately held companies on a controlling and non-controlling basis, partnership interests, corporate notes, incentive distribution rights, security derivatives, non-compete agreements, and personal and professional goodwill.

Mr. Calabrese has experience assisting businesses and law firms with commercial litigation and business valuation matters. Luigi has determined economic damages involving fraud, fiduciary responsibilities and intellectual property. He has developed complex damage models that have been used in bankruptcy proceedings and insurance claims.

Luigi’s experience includes appraising an EPC company at different points in time in a dramatically improving market, and providing an analysis of the profit generated from the date of the contemplated sale to the expected date of trial. In another matter, he appraised a single family dental practice in a marital dissolution dispute. Analysis involved the determination of personal and enterprise goodwill. He has provided a review of royalty payments received by the owner/lessor of mineral rights in the Barnett Shale. He has assessed economic damages related to an alleged breach of contract of oil and gas assets located in the Marcellus Shale. Analysis included the valuation of developed and undeveloped properties using the income and market approaches during dramatically deteriorating market conditions.
