Mr. Ribera, a Associate Consultant in Accumyn ‘s Capital Project Management practice, and an expert in process safety performance improvement. In addition, it has a vocation as an educator, a central theme that has been repeated throughout his career, he has been the development of training programs to train and impart his knowledge.

In 1995 as General Manager of Sistemas De Alerta Y Control Srl, a company that he founded, took the initiative to become certified in USA in electronic security systems. Later Mr. Ribera return to Bolivia, developed a technical training program and train the technical staff of the company who were in charge of the installation and maintenance of electronic intrusion systems, closed circuit television (CCTV), fire detection and access control .

In recognition of his vocation and interest as an educator in June 1998 she was invited to be a professor at the University UPSA in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. He attended the seminar practical design classes at the university which was focused on the application of modern development methodologies education programs. I lectured to freshmen architecture for a little over a year. A new career opportunity resulted in a change of direction by initiating a long stage in oil exploration. Frequent and extended trips away temporarily forced him to teaching.

His new career in Industrial Safety in Veritas DGC a Canadian company was accompanied by great opportunities and challenges. He received training in USA on HSE Management System of the company – analysis, control and risk mitigation, management and HSE management, hazardous materials management, incident investigation, handling of explosives, among others. The various projects led him to travel extensively; initially by Bolivia and then to projects in various countries of North and South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australia.

His international experience sparked concern about large-scale projects and their impact on the environment. To this end, I realize postgraduate studies in Environmental Engineering at the University UPSA.

Thanks to various opportunities that followed was appointed HSE Manager for Bolivia, South America and then after a few years HSE Vice President for the Americas for CGGVeritas. One of the biggest challenges as the leader of HSE for the region, was to find effective mechanisms and to develop and encourage leadership skills in HSE managers and vice presidents in the region strategies.

With over eighteen years of experience in various segments of the oil and Gas, Mr. Ribera has developed courses to educate and prepare field staff and offices in various HSE issues, including leadership, management and HSE management, incident investigation, crisis management, etc.
