Mr. Fletcher is an associate managing consultant at Accumyn Consulting specializing in analysis of construction project controls for capital projects. His education and more than thirty years of experience in executive and senior manager positions crosscuts construction industry executive, project and contract management, quantity surveying, and consulting activities. Projects have involved construction and operational assignments in domestic and international commercial, manufacturing & process, oil & gas and power generation business sectors.
Beginning as an apprentice quantity surveyor Mr. Fletcher worked on a variety of projects providing contract management and project control services on commercial, retail, banking, educational and government construction projects for major construction consultants in Scotland. During this period, he earned Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor credentials as a Quantity Surveyor.
Mr. Fletcher subsequently worked for the project and program management firm of Faithful & Gould for over 25 years where he was appointed Regional Director in the UK and Vice President in the US, where he set up offices in Portland and Seattle to pursue business opportunities with light rail, manufacturing and government projects. He later managed consulting and project controls engagements major operating and engineering clients, including Shell, BP, S&B and Jacobs.
More recently Mr. Fletcher accepted senior contracts management positions with Shell Exploration & Production Company and Shell Global Solutions, Inc. where he was responsible for setting up a global supply chain to support a worldwide portfolio of small scale LNG projects. During this period, he also worked on offshore platform facility fabrication contracts in Texas and Louisiana, and in Iraq and Dubai, where he provided project control services for the upgrading of the Basra Gas Company gas facilities by Shell and the Iraqi government.
