Mr. Boudousquié has extensive expertise as a forensic accountant and as a valuation and financial damages analyst. He has over 30 years of experience in providing accounting, audit, tax, management consulting and financial and economic analysis services to clients in a variety of industries including energy, manufacturing, banking and financial services, retail, construction, and real estate.
Mr. Boudousquié has played a key role in a variety of complex forensic accounting investigations, including critical assignments relating to the analysis of complex financing structures implemented by the Italian food and dairy giant Parmalat, SpA and by the energy trading firm Enron. In both cases, his work included the analysis of the financial and accounting implications of various transactions, including financial statement disclosures, accounting for complex derivatives, mark-to-market accounting, and consolidation of special purpose entities.
Mr. Boudousquié has significant experience providing financial, valuation, and economic analysis related to infringement of intellectual property rights, misappropriation of trade secrets, antitrust violations, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business interruption, construction delay claims, employment disputes, financial fraud and misrepresentation, product liability, professional liability and accounting malpractice. His experience includes calculating damages from lost profits, general business valuations, risk and discount rate analysis, statistical cost estimation, financial restructuring and business turnaround.
Prior to his current position at Accumyn, Mr. Boudousquié provided similar services for the financial and economic consulting firm LECG and for the accounting firm BDO Seidman. He has also been responsible for assurance, accounting and tax services at other accounting firms.
Mr. Boudousquié holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of CPAs (ABV). He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Professional affiliations and memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
