Mr. Chambers is a chemical engineer with over 40 years of project management, process design, operations support, engineering division and department management experience gained at global engineering and construction contracting and process technology firms in the hydrocarbon processing industry. Most recently he has held project management positions for lump sum contracts involving EPC activity in the USA and process equipment design and supply in the People’s Republic of China. He has extensive experience in preparation of front end engineering and design packages and detailed engineering design for domestic and international grassroots ethylene facilities.Beginning his career with a Bachelor of Technology and Master of Science degrees in chemical engineering, Mr. Chambers worked as a Chartered Engineer at Stone & Webster Engineering Limited and ABB Simcon in the UK before joining Stone & Webster’s Process Engineering Headquarters in Houston. His positions increased in responsibility from process engineer through process department manager, operations manager, to project engineering manager and project manager. He continued with the company’s process headquarters when it was acquired by the Shaw Group.
Subsequently he has been managing process technology based projects for the technology services departments of major Houston EPC contractors.
Mr. Chambers has been a nationally chartered engineering professional in the UK and has held membership in that country’s chemical engineering institute.
